What Are The Side Effects Of Oral Contraceptive Pill?

hi, I am 25 years old and I am a virgin. I have PCOD. I have always Erratic period, I use Oral contraceptive pill for almost 7 years. I have Regular period now. but I still feel the problem. is there anything that I can do? Or the only way is keep eating the pills, exercise and healthy eat. Dose the pill cause me any disease in the future? Is there any possibility that my PCOD problem gets Worse?

Hello,

You can go for an ultrasound to assess the progress of disease and to check whether there is any follicles persist or not. If periods are regular, you can gradually taper the dose. Consult a gynaecologist and he will direct you accordingly.
