What Are The Side Effects Of Primolut-N?

Hi , I had sex with my husband and are expecting to have a baby. But due to some reason I have to use primulut to skip my expected periods for a day or two. If I am sure I am going to be pregnant there is no problem. The concern is we just had it 7 days before and I am left with 1 more weeks time before taking the pill. Please suggest. Need immediate help

Hi,

If you had sex & are expecting pregnancy... you should not take any pill to postpone your date. Such pills can cause a congenital anomaly in baby to be. In case you had tried for a baby & have already taken primolutN for postponement. In case you skip your period (8 days later than the date of stopping) after withdrawing the pills. You should go for MTP & remove the pregnancy to avoid possible anomaly in the fetus (as a side effect of Primolut N).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
