What Are The Side Effects Of CYP-L Syrup In A Child?

hi my 7 year old daughter s appetite was low some 20 days, went to her pediatric she suggested De-worming and prescribed Tefrolive Forte twice b/f and Digeplex Ready Mix once a/f and asked to visit her after 20 days. During the 2nd visit she prescribed CYP-L syrup, I gave my daughter a singe dose of 3ml of the same, she became very sleepy immediately after her lunch. Is this the side effect of the medicine?

Cyp-L is cyproheptadine+lysine and this increases appetite and one of the appetizer boosting medicine also for children .
However it causes mild degree sedation and confusion .
Since 3-4 days your daughter will feel such sedation , so give her this drug at bed time and she will not only get an improvement in appetite but also improvement in health due to lysine.
In my opinion adjust the doses and you will get good result.
