What Are The Side Effects Of Bystolic Tablet?

been taking bystolic for around 5 years. I started developing a rash on my body around 5 months ago. I am currently being treated by a dermatologist since Jan 9th of this year. for the last 6 weeks i have been treated by the dr with halobetasol which has not cleared the rash. My dermatologist said he does not want to change my BP medicine just yet. Could I be having a reaction to the systolic after five years of use?

Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query.

Bystolic (Nebivolol) is a beta blocker used in the treatment of hypertension.

The most common side effects of Bystolic include:

Slower heart rate, difficulty in breathing (in patients with airway disease). weakness, fatigue, cold and clammy hands and feet, and impotency.

Development of a rash during the drug treatment usually occurs immediately.
The rash which is persisting even after using a strong and potent corticosteroid like Halobetasol is suggestive of non allergic.

Kindly get examined by a dermatologist for proper assessment and treatment of the rash all over the body.

kindly rate the answer if you are convinced.
