General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems to be a safe dose for your child. Your child may be having childhood allergy. The symptoms of childhood allergy will be reduced in frequency and duration with growing age most of the time. Ascoril-LS is generally a safe drug. However, if it is taken continuously for a long time, it may cause damage to the kidneys. Hence, a patient with kidney disease should not be given this medicine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
