General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As a physician I would like to tell you that anal intercourse can transmit various infections, as well as can cause damages to anal ring and perineal area if done in improper way and is not a natural way of having sex. Also, if both of you are willing and you are enjoying it, you can go forward with it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhijeet
