What Are The Risk Of Accidental Ingestion Of Shampoo?

hi. i was taking a shower about 8 hours ago when i acidentally swallowed a bunch of shampoo while washing my hair. i immediately couldnt breathe. tried rinsing my mouth with water. been coughing ever since and coughing up a lot of flem. now i ve just gotten a really bad headache and feel nausious. should i go to the e.r. or wait it out?

What was it's content? Amount u ingested? Have u vomited.out after ingestion ?I suggest go to ER if u r having symptoms right now as we can't be sure how much u ingested and what was the content of it. If it is corrosivez better u visit a doctor asps.
