Hi doctor I m 46 days pregnant I took 6 tab of alprex 2,5 mg on my 12th day without knowing I can be pregnant what to do for the safety of my baby is it possible any disability I. My baby because of this now I m not taking any pill please answer what test is required for safety of a healthy child

Usually 6 doses of accidental ingestion in form of alprazolam is not that alarming sign for a developing fetus as the strength was 0.25 mg and total dose counts to be 1.5 mg only. Body has immense digestive power through cytochrome P 450 enzyme system of the body to digest the metabolites of alprazolam without pausing harm to baby. Be sure to avoid now on wards intake of any type of sedative to pause threat to developing baby in any manner.
