What Are The Repercussion Of Lisinopril Overdose?

I know it sounds silly but I honestly can t remember if I took my 20mg dose of lisinopril and 50 mg metropolol this morning. If I did it would hve been around 8 am. Should I take them now? I would normally take another metropolol tonight around 10 and lisinopril tomorrow morning.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you are able to check your blood pressure, you could do that, and if it is high, you should be able to go ahead and take them. If it is normal or low, you could wait until the next time you are scheduled to take them.

If you don't have a blood pressure machine, then just waiting to take them the next time you are scheduled would be reasonable, since high blood pressure temporarily would be less concerning than low blood pressure could be.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
