What Are The Reasons For Loss Of Appetite And Weird Noises From Stomach?

For the past week and a half I have been feeling sick almost constantly, I haven t suffered any toilet problems. I have loss of appetite and don t really feel hungry yet my stomach makes wierd noises. It s not like I do not want to eat it s because I feel even sicker when I do. Any idea what it could be?

Hi,

Your history is suggestive of an intestinal infection of sub-acute nature that is causing all the changes like loss of appetite and gurgling sounds in abdomen, more so on eating.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get the stool tests done, if there is any infection a course of an antibiotic and metronidazole can help you to get have restored the normalcy.
Also take pre and probiotics available in Pharmacy nearby and bananas with curds.
Use boiled for 20 minutes and cooled water for drinking.
Eat only home-made fresh foods.
If these things do not help then you may need additional tests of blood, ultrasonography to find out the cause and get treated accordingly.
