What Are The Pros And Cons Of Painful Vaccination?

Yesterday my daughter got her vaccination of 6 weeks. After the vaccination doc said it was painless vaccination. But I heard that painful vaccination is more effective than painless one. Is it true? I am totally confused. Please help me out. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

This is not the case, the intensity of the pain experienced with the injection would not determine the effectiveness of the medication or the immune response.

The aim is to make immunizations as painless as possible so that children do not experience a lot of episodes of discomfort.

I hope this helps
