General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Mild cognitive impairments are symptoms like impaired judgment, unable to travel independently, poor motor coordination, unable to bath or make meals, identity confusion, not able to take care of medicines taken or manage finances properly.

Loss of short or long term memory. Mild cognitive impairment should be first diagnosed.

The patient needs to be physically examined by a GP, get Blood workout done to detect thyroid, vitamin B12 deficiency, neurological examinations & Imaging tests like CT, MRI & MCI.

Treatment & therapy depends upon the severity of the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
