What Are The Medicines Given For Cystic Fibrosis?

I need a list of all the meds my son might be taking for cystic fibrosis. I know most are enzymes for digestive purposes. I do know that he s required to take about 45 meds/day. GF Yourselves. this is a matter of my sons health. Not going to pony up $15 dollars. Hippocratic oath my ass.

There are a number of different medications that can be used for cystic fibrosis.

His doctor would be able to provide you with a complete list.

Some of the possible medications that may be used are: (i1)pancrelipase- this is an enzyme and helps with digestion of protein, starch and fat
(2)vitamins- vitamin a , d, e and k
(3)bronchodilators- these are medications that open the airway eg albuterol
(4)mucolytic agents-these help to break down the mucus in the airways eg dornase alfa
(5)antibiotics

His doctor would be able to give you the specific ones he is taking.
