What Are The Effects Of Inhaling Melting Plastic Smell During Pregnancy?

Hello, I m 5 weeks pregnant. Outside work today there were some workmen working on the drains. I m not sure exactly what they were doing but there was a strong smell of melting plastic. I tried my best to aviod the room that smelt the strongest and got fresh air as often as I could but I m worried about my baby.

Need not to worry much. Once exposure for few minutes has no so much harmful effect on fetus. There will be genetic scan of fetus at 12 weeks and 20 weeks which will show any deformity or defect in fetus.
