What Are The Early Signs Of Pregnancy?

Hi doctor, I was on dianette for skin problems for 7 years and then moved directly to Yasmin for 3 years but decided to give my system a break 6 months ago and stop taking oral conterceptives. It took 3.5 months for my natural periods to resume, I got one on May 18th which was fairly normal and the next came in June 29th which was 5 days, normal for me but very light. On Sunday, July 13th (4 days ago) I had intercourse using a condom but after withdrawal we realised the condom had moved up and semen had leaked out the bottom. Quite a lot of semen. It wasn t clear if any if the fluids had been passed on but decided to play it safe and 3 hours later got Norlevo from the pharmacy. I experienced no symptoms on Sunday but had very sharp stomach cramps last night and diarrhoea and loose stool today. Then this evening I have been getting VERY sharp pains in my breasts. My stomach also feels quite tender and bloated. Is this a delayed reaction to Norlevo and also will this mess up my natural menstrual cycle even more? Thanks in advance

Thanks for posting your query. As you are not on oral contraceptives now, having unprotected sex exposes you to the risk of pregnancy. Taking norlevo will work for only one act only and will not be useful for further acts of sex.
The symptoms of pregnancy & pre - menstrual period are similar.
Norlevo can also delay your periods, so you can wait for a week from expected period before you see a doctor. Hope this helps, Take care.
