Hello
Cataract surgery cost depends on the type of surgery. The common surgeries done are small incision cataract surgery, this costs around Rs. 10,000 and phacoemulsification cataract surgery which costs around Rs. 20,000.
The main difference is size of incision. In small incision cataract surgery it is 5.5-6.5 mm and in phacoemulsification it is 3.5 mm.

Phacoemulsification is better as small wound heals faster and provides quick rehabilitation.

Thank you
