What Are The Diet Plans For Healthy Pregnancy?

Hi..

Currently im in my 5 th month of pregnancy. i gainly 2 kgs so far. kindly let me know if this is fine. (my WEight was 58 kg and my ht is 164 cm before im pregnant).

Also tell me the diet plan for a healthy pregnancy and well being of the fetus.

Hello, my dear. I do hope you are seeing someone for your pregnancy. It is important to be taking a multivitamin first thing!

Weight Gain Parameters: If at a healthy weight before pregnancy you want to gain 1-4.5( up to 2 kg) pounds in your first trimester. After that the world Health Guidelines recommend 1 lb per week (.5 kg/week) through the second and third trimesters. According to this, your weight gain is on the low side.

You asked for a diet plan. Diet plans should be personalized and obtaining one through the free question section is above and beyond the scope of function for these questions. Please see a dietitian or go to a prenatal clinic. I can do a meal plan for you if you come through the direct portal for a consultation and include a sample day's eating plan, meds, supplements, diagnosis,etc.

Assure you are eating 300 calories extra per day above normal diet.
