What Are The Common Symptoms For Pityriasis Rosea And HIV?

Hi I just want to ask about pityriasis rosea and Hiv,Is Pityriasis Rosea rash and HIV do they have a same cause please reply,Cause I have pityriasis right now or a Herald patch and I really don t know where did I get this or what is the common cause of this rash, and I m really afraid if it s connected to hiv virus, please answer thank you so much..

Hi,

Pityriasis rosea is not a contagious disease. The definite cause is unknown. Rashes may be triggered by herpes virus and HIV. Pityriasis does not have have the same cause. You are advised ointment Topisone, Allegra, for itching, Acyclovir for 7 days. Review after this.
