What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Postinor 2?

Hello Doctor, what are the chances of a virgin being pregnant in a case where a girlfriend and boyfriend were just stroking without penetration but the guy released on the vagina but also took postinor 2 due to fear of being pregnant. Then 12hours after taking the second pill they had another round of stroking and the guy finished on her abdomen this time around. Is there any need for taking another tablets of the contraceptive or the effect of the last one can still prevent the chances of getting pregnant?

Hi,

Based on your description, it seems that the dosage of emergency contraceptive pill Postinor 2 has been taken appropriately.

There is no need to take any other pill at this stage as the chances of getting pregnant is remote, as there was no penetrative intercourse.

The chances of getting pregnant is very less when ejaculation occurs outside near to genital organs. The pill would prevent pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding just like periods.

Kindly relax and wait for bleeding to happen.
