What Are The Chances Of Normal Delivery With Placenta Posterior?

My wife is pregnant by 32.3 weeks, and the actual gestational age by scan is 31.3 weeks. She is diagnosed to have placenta posterior, grade I-II, reaching up to internal os. What is the chances of a normal delivery, and when can the same be ascertained?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the placenta reaching internal os might be mild degree of placenta praevia. But there is chance of bleeding during delivery and fetal distress. It might be done with utmost monitoring. If there is any fetal compromise then surgery might be planned.Take rest.Avoid physical strain and intercourse.Observe for fetal movements.
