What Are The Chances Of Getting Pregnant Despite Of Missed Althea Pills

Hi this krissy, i would like to ask about my althea pills. I m just worried because i took my last pill last Jan 21 of this year and this is my 5th day of free pill and i have no menstrual period yet. I had contact with my husband a day before my last intake of pill and im just worried because as of now i dont have mens yet. Am i pregnant?

Hi krissy, I have gone through your question. You can wait for atleast 7 days for periods after the last day of pill intake. If you don't get periods even after 7 days, then you should go for urine pregnancy test. If the test is positive, then you should consult you OBGYN specialist urgently, as althea pills have cypoterone acetate, which is a compound which can have harmful effect on baby.
