Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Routine use of antibiotic is not recommended in management of simple respiratory infection, its leads to development of resistance in bacteria. Also majority of resp infection are viral in origin, antibiotics have no role.
Use of anti-tussive cough syrup, decongestants will provide much needed relief
