Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

I can understand your concern. Soma is Carisoprodol and the drug is a muscle relaxant drug which acts centrally in brain. The drug when taken for long time regularly is known to cause dependence. Abrupt stoppage would cause withdrawal symptoms and you may face symptoms like severe muscle spasms, insomnia, restlessness, dizziness etc. The risk of having seizures also increases with withdrawal of Soma. So I would advise you to reduce the doses of drug gradually over 4-6 weeks. Avoid stopping the drug abruptly.

Visit a doctor for proper tapering of doses.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
