Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Children sometimes also show symptoms like restless leg syndrome. In most children the complaints of recurrent movement of legs during sleep are seen. They may show sudden jerky movements of legs during sleep and this cause significant distress to individuals. Sudden movement of legs during sleep can also occur in myoclonic epilepsy or myoclonic jerks. If her symptoms are persisting then I would advise you to take the child to a doctor for evaluation and to rule out myoclonic jerks and for treatment.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care.
