What Are Side Effects Of Valprol And Will He Again Get Convulsions?
My son is 32 years old. HE HAD CONVULSIONS TWO MONTHS BACK WHILE DRIVING A TWO WHEELER AND IT STAYED FOR TWENTY MINUTES. AFTER THAT HE IS ALRIGHT. OUR DOCTOR HAS GIVEN HIM VALPROL 500MG. i AM WORRIED ABOUT ITS SIDE EFFECTS . SO FAR HE IS FINE. IS THERE A CHANCE OF HIM GETTING CONVULSIONS AGAIN. WHEN CAN HE RIDE VEHICLE.
Valprol is one of the effective & safe drugs for the treatment of convulsions. However it can cause the following side effects like abdominal pain, nausea, weight gain, some times injury to the liver which is very rare. The convulsions are well controlled by Valprol but he must avoid riding the motor vehicles, and also swimming.
Take care!
