What Are My Risks For This Serotonin Syndrome Caused By Taking Lexapro And Tussin Together And Should I Skip Today S Dose?

I have been taking Lexapro 10mg once a day for about 2 months. I currently have a head cold and have been up for hours having coughing fits so I dug out some Tussin DM and took some for relief. I didnt realize that they two shouldnt be taken together. What are my risks for this Seratonin Syndrome they mention? I last took my Lexapro about 15 hours ago. Also should I skip my dose for today?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Serotonin syndrome does not happen until and unless the dose of drug increased near to the lethal dose, this syndrome can be happen without the interaction, with single drug too, but such condition develops very rarely, it is more deliberate act, than the pharmacological reaction, better to take care while taking anti-psychotic drugs, have nice day.
