We're Trying To Figure Out A Diagnosis For The Following:

We're trying to figure out a diagnosis for the following:
62 year old male in good shape was pushing himself to jog further.
Later became very ill: diahrea, fever, weak, sleeping, "foggy" brain, etc. Lasted over a week. Now it's a month later, and he still feels weak. It took a lot out of him. Also, says he didn't drink during that time period (and he does usually drink). I'm not sure what withdrawals are, but I don't think this is it -- do you? Could it be the flu?
