Well, this is embarrassing. But, easy to discuss via this format. I am 73 yrs. old and married for 49 yrs. For several years my husband and I have not had sexual intercourse. There are several emotional reasons, including depression. Some things have changed physically with me. My husband has never discussed any problems with me. He's been kind to me. But, he does want sex and is first now asking me about it. We tried a few years ago, but, it was painful for me. Now its been even longer since that. Should I take Premarin? I have some here at home from 2011. Is there a risk of infection? Thanks.
