Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
We just adopted 1 year old cat from the humane society. She is only 5 pounds and very tiny. She was spayed on Feb. 23. Less than 24 hours after bringing her home she stared vomiting blood and will not eat. We took her to our vet and she said running tests will be expensive and she recommended calling the humane society to see if they could run tests for free since we just adopted her. They won't unless it has to do with her spay surgery. Do you think it does or was this an underlining illness she had when we adopted her that they missed?
