Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Melacare and skinlite are strong pigment reducing creams and should not be used without being under a doctor's follow up.
To improve your skin tone, I would advise
Use a mild Glycolic acid based face wash like Aha glow
Use a sunscreen in morning esp between 10 am to 4 pm. Sunscreen should be applied 30 minutes prior to sun exposure and should be repeated every two to three hourly. Use a sunscreen offering UVA and UVB protection.
Apply milder creams with Kojic acid, arbutin vitamin c or Glycolic acid. You may use kojivit cream in morning and glyco a 6 percent cream in night. Do not apply these creams in large quantities and do not rub these creams too much as may cause irritation. These creams are safe in long run. However there use may be discontinued once results are achieved and the effect can be maintained with regular sunscreen use.
If possible consult a dermatologist and take few sessions of chemical peels.
Take food rich in vitamin c and antioxidants.

Hopefully you would have a glowing flawless skin in a month.
Take care
