Vomiting and drowsiness ? Today October 2, 2015 10:00am I took metronidazole with Gatorade the taste was not pleasant and unexpected so I mouth wash back into the Gatorade. Still the medicine in my mouth, I see some medicine in the blue Gatorade. Second try I swallow the medicine. I put the Gatorade and the medicine on the very top cabinet. Two in a half hours later I let my four year old son watch tv and I went to the restroom to take a shower when I came out to check on my son. My son was on top of the cabinet drinking the Gatorade. I panic and took the Gatorade away. A hour later my son started to get very drowsiness . Two hours later he started vomiting. At 10:30 pm he started vomiting again.
