Vitamin D Deficiency, Leg Cramps, Shooting Pain Between Breasts. Taking Cod Liver Oil Capsules. Suggestions?

I am 47 years old woman (Indian origin) and have been healthy all my life. The only problem I have is vitamin D deficiency and this results in severe leg cramps during nights. My number is 14. Every night, I have been taking 2 vit d3 (each 2000 IU) cod liver oil capsules to address Vit D deficiency.

My lifestyle is very simple and active. Of late I have switched to a predominantly raw diet consisting of fruits, salads (with dressing made from scratch), nuts.

Once in a while I develop shooting pain between my breasts and it goes all the way to the back. I dont do anything and it seems to go away after 20-30 minutes. I need advice on what could be the root cause for this? Do I have to go to a doctor?

Thanks in advance.

Hi!. Thanks for the query. as per your complaints you may be suffering from low levels of Calcium and Vitamins. See a GP and he may help you by prescribing Calcium supplements along with a Vit.E and other supportive therapy. Take care.
