Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Very difficult in a few words. I have been told I have a medication resistant systolic hypertension. I am currently on 4 different high blood pressure meds and I still get readings of 190/72(average) regardless of time of day or night. I have tried essentially all the classes of hypertensive medication to no avail. I am 70 years old and have had HBP for over 30 years, just not to these extremes. Any ideas? Thanks, Leonard
