Two Days Ago I Had Anterior Cervical Fusion C3-C5 Laterality.

Two days ago I had Anterior Cervical Fusion C3-C5 Laterality. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP and had a good nights sleep last night. However today I'm having difficulty swallowing (even water) and I am coughing almost overtime I drink water. Obviously I can't eat, and of course my throat is very sore). I was going to call the neurologist buy it's Saturday and they are closed. I'm taking hydrocodone-acetaminophen 7.5-325mg (two tablets every 4 hours). Also taking methocarbamol 750 mg (2 tables every 4 hours). I have pain, both in the back of my neck (I guess where the screws were put in) and the front of the throat (where the incision is). I expect the pain and the meds work pretty well for that, but I'm mostly concerned about coughing (it it harmful to the procedure) and the inability to swallow (I need to eat and drink more water). I'm also concerned about my sore throat. I had throat lozenges in the hospital, but I didn't get a prescription.
