Trying To Conceive, Late Period, Light, Blood Clots. Advise?

hi !
My last period was on 9 april 2013.It was different than my regular periods.very light and blood clots last for 4 days.i am trying to conceive a baby since jan 2013.This time my period is so late it start on 21/05/13.i could see only few drops of blood ,nothing more than that.what could be the reason. please suggest.thankyou

Thanks for the query.
Menstrual irregularities can happen due to many causes like hormonal irregularities, thyroid abnormalities etc.
And some women can also have spotting being pregnant also.
But it is not sufficient to confirm or exclude the pregnancy.
So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for one ultrasound.
By doing ultrasound the possibility of pregnancy can be find out and in the absence of pregnancy the other possibles causes for irregular periods can be made out.
