Treatment For Parasites In Stool

I am fairly confident I have a parasite, I found some in my stool. I have three dogs and a cat. These did not worry me as much as the fact I just got my period and a diff type of parasite came out. Is this reason for even more concern. I am seeing my dr. on Monday. The stool looks like worms, the other almost like a pod with long hard string. Thank you.
