Tongue Swelling, Rashes, Shaky Legs. Doctors Say Angiodema. Suggestions?

Hi, I'm so worried. Since February 2013 all of a sudden my 16 year old daughter has tongue swelling with sometimes but not all the time rashes, shaky legs, and anaphylactic episodes. This is so disruptive. All blood tests, allergy test has been normal. Epinephrine has truly been her lifeline. Doctors say angioedema. It keeps happening just want to know whatever it is triggers it so we know how to treat and finally get rid of it --so very worried mama.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You might be suffering from a condition called as angioedema.

It is an allergic condition.

There must be a particular food or any other item with which you are getting this allergy.

Try to notice it and eliminate it.

Treatment is with anti histamines like cetrizine.

Steroids might be required if it is severe.

This will give you some relief.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
