Tightness In Front Part Of Head, Headache. What Is The Cause And Required Treatment?

i am 17 years old about 5'4 132 lbs..I have been experiencing a tightness in the front part of my head. Along with headache. The headache is not always combined with the tightness. As I am typing this I am experiencing this tightness feeling between my upper forehead through hairline. I am just wondering what exactly can cause this tightness its a pretty constant feeling. What is causing it ? What can i do to make it go away ?

Thank you for posting your query.

Muscle tightness can occur in muscle tension headaches, commonly referred to as tension headaches.

These respond to medications such as amitriptyline tablets. In addition, gentle head massage would also be helpful.

There is no need to worry about your symptoms.
