Throat Pain And Fever. Is This Just A Symptom Of Getting A Cold?
My husband has a fever of slightly over 100 degrees, he also has the chills (I m assuming from the fever) and has horrible gas, VERY smelly... the gas has been happening for the last few days, the fever just started to happen today. He also has gunk in his throat and slight throat pain. Is this probably just a cold starting or something more?

you should take gargles and drink green tea for this . take plenty of water and oral antibiotics would be helpful. I recommend to have a proper clinical examination
