This is day 53 of adverse reaction after Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccine on March 14. I have been to over 20 medical appointments. I had tongue and throat swelling within 20 minutes of injection, 104.8 fever that night. Injection arm went numb. I could not stay alert more than 5-10 minutes at a time for 3 days. Long periods of time over those first three days, I could not move or open my eyes. I had jaw pain, severe body pain (starting with back pain, abdominal pain, neck pain and severe headache). My fever lasted 9 consecutive days. Chest pain began on March 27. ER morning of the 28th, and urgent care April 4 (for chest pain). Pain, then low blood pressure (85/52), then racing heart. Blurry vision. Bloodwork ruled out all underlying health conditions, Covid-19 negative. Antibody tests pre vaccine negative IgG and negative IgM. 21 days after vaccination and negative Covid test, negative IgM but positive IgG. Infectious diseases doctor said antibodies from vaccine. Memory loss, difficulty with speech. Chest x-ray normal. Ruled out mono, influenza A and B, ruled out autoimmune conditions. Light and sound sensitivity. Any increased cognitive task or movement amplified dizziness, speech difficulties, light and sound sensitivity. Physical therapy found left side weakness, speech therapy found cognitive deficits, vestibular eval last week found I was leaning to the right. After vestibular exercises on Friday, doubled over abdominal pain, cold sweats, blurry vision, headache, leg pain. Doctors have said the only explanation is vaccine reaction, but have ruled out thrombosis with no visible clots on MRI taken a month after vaccination (April 15). Three neurologists said my sumo ribs sound most like concussion, TIAs or TBI. It doesn’t explain chest pain and racing heart. Up until 2 weeks ago, I could hardly stay alert during the day and was asleep at least 20 hours a day. No one knows how to help. Vestibular therapy first session after eval is tomorrow.
