My skin rash is on my shins where the skin is very thin and it starts to itch, so I start rub and scratch and rub the itch. The very cold and icy weather brought this on. Temp. of 3 degrees to the mid 20 s brought this on. Those temp. lasted for over a month. I have no problem in spring, summer or fall, only in the winter when the temp. is extremely cold. Thank you.

I was hit in the shin with a discus today at a track meet. It swelled immediately with little pain. When I got home 4 hours later, it was considerably swollen and I saw that the discus broke the skin slightly with minimal bleeding. I iced immediately and took ibuprofen. I have had my leg elevated. Anything else to do?
