Thank you...my seventeen year old son was recently diagnosed with genereralized form epilepsy, following 2 injury-inducing tonic clonic seizures. EEG shows he is also having absence seizures every 5-20 minutes, although he is not aware of them. My son also was diagnosed ADHD inattentive and has been on various melds for that since he was six. In addition, he struggles with depression. He is trying topamax after two other AEDs weren't good for him, he is now taking vayarin for attention and short term memory issues, and he is on 15 mg remeron. Getting the pediatric neurologist and the psychiatrist we've gone to for years to communicate often takes over a week. As he will be 18 in a few months, we probably need to find one doctor who will do all three. Is there such a "grand slammer?", and if you know a good one, who is it?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
