Hi, Thyroid hormone is of vital importance in leading healthy, happy ,active life. TSH is secreted in Pitutory, gland in brain,to stimulate thyroid gland.produce thyroid hormone. Your TSH was raised because thyroid gland did not produce thyroid hormone in sufficient proportion,& so more TSH was secreted by pitutary. Now, the Thyronorm 75 micro grams taken by you fulfilled body need. & so there was no need for excessive TSH secretion.Naturally the results of TSH were normal. This is to explain you why supplimenting thyroid hormone by Thyronorm is essential for you.. IT SHOULD NOT BE STOPPED.The doses may be adjusted by an Endocrinologist's advice. Thanks.
