Swelling With Discharge On The Finger. Causes?

Hello, my middle finger on my left hand keeps swelling up on me. I have never hurt it in anyway. It s not sore and it s not red. About two times a month I have to drain it. The weird thing is what comes out of it. Its a clear thick liquid almost like honey . I think its a lot because it will easily cover my finger nail. Do you have any idea what it is and what might be causing it? Thanks for your help.

Hi. What you seem to have is most likely paronychia, with pus collection around your nailbed requiring drainage. Though this condition is painful, i find it odd that you do not have any pain in this finger. Im unable to make another diagnosis at present based on your history. A personal examination would be the best. Thank you.
