Swelling At Tip Of Nose, Red And Hard, Fluid Oozing. Had Cold Recently

The tip of my nose is swollen, red, hard and tender to the touch. I pushed at it and some clearish red fluid emerged. The tenderness started last night but I didn't think much of it because I recently just got over a cold and was wiping my nose quite a bit. I thought the rawness was from friction caused by the tissue

Hi, You seem to be suffering from nasal vestibulitis. Please do not press or even touch forcefully that area. Use an antibiotic cream/ointment over that region gently. Take a course of antibiotics and analgesics. Do get your blood sugar checked. In case the problem does not go or severe headache stats, do consult an ENT. Regards
