General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Fear when having a test is a very common thing. Some patients may have it more pronounced and this may interfere with their performance. This is turn, makes the anxiety during future tests worse.
To help your daughter, she may take 40 mg of propranolol 1 hour before the test. This will help control her heart rate and will reduce the shakiness and fear during the test.
Also, some counseling could be helpful to guide her on how to deal with these fears.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

I wish you good health.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
