Suggest Ways To Gaining Weight In A Lactose Intolerant Person

Having trouble gaining weight. I am lactose intolerant and stay on a strict no milk diet. I have mild stomach discomfort a lot of the time with a history of H-pylori. My Dr. will not order a H-pylori test seeing how we have used 2 treatments of antibotics. They are telling me its just IBS, which I think is BS.

Hello and thank you for your question.
To gain weight you must increase your calories. If you are lactose intolerant a good way to do that is to add in seeds or nuts as snacks. They have a lot of protein and good fats and can help you gain weight. Adding in healthy oils like olive oil can also help you gain weight yet stay healthy. Consider gluten intolerance also and possibly a trial for 3 months off all gluten
I hope you are feeling better soon
