Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

Please stop trying any home remedies on your face. You seems to have developed post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation on your face secondary to irritant dermatitis to garlic.

If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to apply a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone, twice daily for 2 weeks to fade away the hyperpigmentation gradually.

Use a broad spectrum sunscreen throughout the day to prevent sun induced darkenning

regards
