my father is suffring for diabete for last 20 year.he is 62 year old his last finger of left leg have some (chot) before 2 month ,at this time his sugar is 160pp and 110 fasting,A doctor is dressing per day ,He have Drag CEPTOM 500 Mor.. and Eve..,But his Leg last finger is not Quar and he have fear at 4PM,Pleace i wanted to know if there is a diabetes specialist sargon in Lucknow. If yes then how good are they?

Hello,
Your father has decreased blood flow to his feet . This is a long term complication of diabetes. It becomes worse when there is high cholesterol and blood pressure also. The important thing is to keep the wound clean and dress it daily with a local antibiotic like Bactroban. I have my patients to benefit from Ginkgobiloba orally as it improves the blood flow. Blood sugar has to be in good control. If these measures do not help, you should consult a vascular surgeon as early as possible.
