Hi,

As per your complain and as per your son's throat culture report it seems that your son is suffering from bacterial throat infection also known as Strep throat. As it is a bacterial infection he needs antibiotics only and other remedies fr faster relief.

Consult a Pediatrician and get evaluated and he can advise you a course of antibiotics for at least 2 weeks and along with it a steroid shot and short course oral steroids can also be advised. He can also be advised anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room can help..You can also suck throat lozenges, chew Vitamin C pellet and avoid spicy and chilled foods.

Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks and regards,
